You will love The Historian right to the finish.
But you have to develop your stamina for long sentences if you are reading it.
And another thing - since you’ve read Paulo Coelho’s books, I also recommend Neale Donald Walsch’s Conversations with God and his other books.
I am one about one third through the Historian and I find it to be a great read. But I find the narrative very descriptive given that the father was telling his daughter about the events from his memory.
Anyway after reading Neil Gaiman’s ‘Neverwhere’ and ‘Stardust’ I find myself trying to make sense of long sentences. It is really amazing how much information Gaiman can squeeze into a single sentence. The only problem I have is by the time I read to the end of a sentence I can’t remember how it began. Haha.
Do you by chance have any of Neale Donald Walsch’s books? I would like to exchange some books I have with you.
