I am NOT going to the US to study. Although it was my dream to become a Film Director I realize that I actually only ever wanted to tell great stories. Stories can be told in many mediums. One of which is through computer animations. The great thing I love about computer animation is that it is never restricted. Actually it is. Only by your imagination.

If you folks remembered last year I spent quite some time in preparing a Portfolio to send to DigiPen. I sent my application, portfolio and write-up to Redmond.

I was pretty excited about it until they replied with the heartbreaking news that they won’t be opening in January 2008. And rumor had it that they were not coming to Singapore.

Guess what, while I was in the midst of sending my application to Fullsail, I got a email saying that I have been accepted into DigiPen Singapore and my 4 year Course will start this coming September.

Anyone who has a sense of arithmetic symbols would realize that by staying in Singapore and studying one would spend less. Besides if I stay in Singapore a little longer I get to do accomplish all my other goals I have set for myself.

By the way, this course has only twenty students. Some of you might call it lucky. Well I don’t care what you call it. I call it hard work. It’s the only thing I know that brings results.
