Last month I met a stranger who asked me a simple question at the end of a survey.

Stranger: So, who you want to be in life?
Me: I want to be me
Stranger: Why? What’s so great about you?

The stranger made this sarcastic remark because I was wearing my military uniform with my lance corporal rank.

Me: Well, because there is no one like me. I am the one and the only. And mind you, I am great.
Stranger: Great? Huh…
Me: Yeah. You just don’t know it yet!

Stranger stands there stunned and I walked away with a smile on my face.
